Benefit from a Marine Engineer Specialist

To match our extensive range of services, Bowen Fluid Engineering has been recognised as a great working partner with our clients in the marine operations sector.

We have worked closely with Briggs Marine, providing a new tow winch installation on a Tug. To do this, we first modified the ship's existing closed-loop hydraulics to suit the new winch, then installed additional deck hoses and tube work to make the winch controllable from the bridge. Our engineers installed a bespoke control system that allowed the clutch, high and low speed, and brake function all to be controlled safely from the bridge.

Another marine client we have worked with closely in the past is Forth Ports. We supplied and installed replacement hoses and pipework for deck winches and cranes on board various Tugs and port vessels. Our engineers carried out the full maintenance and repair of hydraulic power units, rams and other essential hydraulic machinery, ensuring a safe and reliable system for the client.

This is just a small example of the work Bowen can do for our clients in the marine sector. If you choose to work with us, our team will regularly test, service, and update all your marine hydraulic systems and work on improving the use of any tubes, piping, accumulators, valves, or filtration systems that need maintenance. We can also be contracted for bespoke installations or repairs if requested.

We work to the highest possible safety standards and help ensure your unique marine project is finished on time and to the required specifications.
